Gaza: The number of civilians killed since the start of the relentless Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip on October 7th, 2023, has surged to 43,391, the majority of whom are children and women. Some 102,347 others have been wounded. Thousands of victims remain unaccounted for; either buried under the rubble or scattered along the roads, as rescue teams encounter significant challenges in reaching them due to ongoing Israeli attacks and the massive amount of debris.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, the humanitarian situation in Gaza continues to deteriorate rapidly. The extensive damage to infrastructure has severely hampered rescue operations, leaving residents in dire need of basic necessities such as food, water, and medical aid. The international community has expressed growing concern over the escalating violence and its devastating impact on civilians.
