Colonists Attack Palestinian Shepherds, Damage Crops in Masafer Yatta

Hebron: Israeli colonists attacked shepherds in several communities in Masafer Yatta, located south of Hebron, on Sunday, leading to the destruction of crops and a tense confrontation with local residents.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, media activist Osama Makhameh reported that a group of colonists targeted Issa Hamamdeh while he was tending to his livestock near his residence in Khirbet al-Taban. The colonists attempted to steal some of his animals, but local residents intervened to stop the theft.

Makhameh further noted that the colonists engaged in provocative activities in the Wadi al-Jawaya area of Masafer Yatta, where they assaulted both residents and shepherds. In addition, the colonists released their livestock near the homes of the Abu Sabha family in Khirbet al-Fakhit, resulting in property damage.

The disruptive actions continued as the colonists pursued shepherds in the areas of Khirbet Mughayir al-Abeed, Isfi, and Hawara, hindering their access to grazing lands and escalating tensions in the region.
