Ramallah: Israeli colonists carried out separate attacks on Monday morning against the villages of Burqa and al-Mughayyir, east of Ramallah, attempting to steal sheep and causing damage to agricultural crops.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, in Burqa, local sources reported that a group of colonists attacked the outskirts of the village and raided a sheep pen in an attempt to steal several sheep. However, residents confronted the colonists and successfully prevented the theft.
In a similar incident in al-Mughayyir, colonists released their livestock onto Palestinian-owned agricultural land, where the animals grazed and damaged several crops.
The recent events follow an attack on Saturday, where several Palestinians were injured by live ammunition, rubber-coated metal bullets, and tear gas canisters during an assault by Israeli occupation forces and colonists on a house in al-Mughayyir.
