Shtayyeh: Deducting new amounts from the clearance is a political decision to separate Gaza from the West Bank

Ramallah - Ma'an - Prime Minister Muhammad Shtayyeh said that the Israeli government's decision to deduct new sums from the clearance funds, under the pretext that we finance Gaza with a value of $140 million per month, is political and aims to separate Gaza from the West Bank, and we will not allow that and will not accept this separation.

The Prime Minister stressed, in his speech at the beginning of the government meeting today, Monday, in Ramallah, that Gaza is an integral part of our national fabric, and an essential geographical component of the State of Palestine. We have committed to our responsibilities there for 30 years, even after the division, and we will continue.

Shtayyeh added: “This money is our people’s money, and we will continue to demand it in its entirety until we get it,” noting that there is international intervention in this matter, and we hope that it will produce the desired result in the coming days, stressing that money is not more precious than the blood of children in Gaza and the West Bank. .

The Prime Minister said that the scenes in Gaza are beyond human endurance: children being killed by bombs, hunger and fear, wounded without treatment, and ambulances being bombed on live broadcasts, and no longer answering the distress call.

He added: How many Palestinian martyrs does Israel need in order to take revenge, how many homes must be destroyed until the machine of aggression is satisfied, and how many wounded must bleed so that the invaders can enjoy the sound of the groans of children’s torture and the scenes of the mass killing of innocents.

He continued: The thread of bleeding blood did not stop in Beit Hanoun, Beit Lahia, Gaza, Jabalia, Al-Daraj, Tal Al-Hawa, Juhr Al-Dik, Abasan, Al-Mughraqa, Khan Yunis, Deir Al-Balah, Rafah, Al-Shawka, Al-Fukhari, Khuza’a, Bani Suhaila, and Medina Al-Zahra. Umm al-Nasr, al-Bureij, al-Maghazi, al-Nuseirat, al-Zawaida, and al-Qarara, and this thread continues with Jenin, Nablus, Tulkarm, Qalqilya, Tubas, Jericho, Ramallah, Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Hebron, and Salfit.

The Prime Minister condemned the inflammatory statements of the Israeli Minister of Heritage regarding the Gaza Strip, and said: “He was not satisfied with 10,000 martyrs, more than 25,000 wounded, and a million displaced people, but he also wants to see Hiroshima in Gaza, and to see genocide achieved with the nuclear bombs Israel possesses.” "This bloodthirsty man wants to kill for the sake of killing."

Shtayyeh reviewed the racist statements inciting the killing of our people by a number of Israeli officials, and pointed out that Netanyahu justifies killing, massacres, and genocide, while the Israeli Minister of War described our people as “human animals,” and General Khuila Eiland called for creating a humanitarian crisis in Gaza to become... Not viable.

The Prime Minister called on the International Criminal Court to issue an arrest warrant against the criminals as a precautionary step in order to stop the killing machine, and he saluted the countries that would submit referrals to the court to prosecute the criminals.

He stressed that what is required of people of good conscience and advocates of human values is to move quickly to stop the aggression that turned the Gaza Valley into a valley of blood.

He said: Gaza, immersed in injustice and darkness, needs electricity and water now. Gaza is under the rubble and needs to stop the aggression to search for survivors under the rubble. In Gaza, thousands of children are losing their lives, and in the world they are preparing to celebrate International Children’s Day. I call on the United Nations to cancel this celebration. He published pictures of Palestinian children who were absent from their schools and kindergartens due to the Israeli killing machine.

Shtayyeh saluted all those who stood in the streets of international cities and chanted, “Long live Palestine,” and “Down with the occupation.” He called on the rest of the countries to raise their voices and begin measures against mass murder, forced displacement, and the siege that deprives people of a livelihood and a drop of water.

The Prime Minister called on the Red Cross to live up to its responsibilities and move immediately to stop the violations and abuse to which detainees are exposed inside Israeli occupation prisons.
