Jericho:Israeli colonists seized eight homes in the village of al-Duyuk al-Tahta, located west of Jericho, on Wednesday evening. The colonists remain inside the properties following the seizure.
According to Palestine news & Information Agency – WAFA – English, the colonists, accompanied by their families, forcibly entered the homes by smashing the doors. The houses were unoccupied at the time of the incursion.
In a related incident, Israeli occupation forces entered Jericho and its refugee camps on the same evening, deploying military vehicles throughout the city. Al-Duyuk al-Tahta has experienced repeated attacks by colonists, including home raids and seizures, as part of ongoing colonial expansion efforts in the region. These actions are part of broader attempts to assert control over Palestinian land and properties.
