Israeli Forces Demolish Structures Near Jenin’s Haddad Tourist Village

Jenin:Israeli occupation forces have commenced the demolition of agricultural and commercial structures near the Haddad Tourist Village, located south of Jenin. The demolition activities target a range of facilities, including agricultural outbuildings, a car dealership, a park, and greenhouses.

According to Palestine news & Information Agency – WAFA – English, the demolition follows the issuance of more than 20 notices on October 18, aimed at various facilities within the Jenin Governorate. These notices have been directed at greenhouses, agricultural outbuildings, a park, and a car dealership, stretching from the Al-Badia roundabout near 'Aba to the Martyr Shamikh Abu al-Rub roundabout near the American School.

Tareq Ighbariya, the official responsible for the settlements file in the Jenin Governorate, has highlighted the severe impact of these actions. He stated that the demolitions threaten the existence of these facilities and the livelihoods of local residents, leading to significant financial losses. The destruction of these structures not only affects agricultural equipment and materials but also damages production, income sources for families, and the sustainability of agricultural and commercial activities in the region.
