Hebron:Israeli occupation forces have continued their aggressive operations in the Hebron Governorate for the fourth consecutive day, marked by increased raids, military reinforcements, closures, vehicle seizures, and assaults on citizens.
According to Palestine news & Information Agency – WAFA – English, the Support and Relief Committee in Hebron reports a rise in the number of displaced persons to approximately 2,649. Local sources indicate that additional Israeli forces, accompanied by armored vehicles, entered Hebron via the Farsh al-Hawa entrance and conducted raids in various areas, including Jabal Karbaj and al-Jalda.
Occupation forces have reportedly confiscated several Palestinian vehicles, and new military reinforcements have been seen in the Ein Deir Bahha area. Eyewitnesses captured footage of the forces mistreating a young man at the al-Jalda roundabout.
Occupation forces have also partitioned a street in the Jabal al-Rahma area, restricting movement for local residents. Raids have been carried out on homes of the al-Jabari family, Jamal al-Natsheh, and Abu Yunus al-Zaru, among others, with reported destruction and terrorization of residents.
Hebron Governor Khaled Dudin stated that the forces have arrested over 70 individuals and forcibly displaced 450 families, amounting to more than 2,300 people. He noted the establishment of 128 closed gates and 120 checkpoints, contributing to the fragmentation of the governorate.
The Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission documented 272 attacks by occupation forces and settlers in September, with Hebron having the highest number of demolished structures in the West Bank. The ongoing military measures and closures have deteriorated humanitarian conditions, restricting movement and disrupting livelihoods for residents.
