Israeli Forces Install Iron Gates to Restrict Palestinian Movement in Jenin

Jenin:Israeli occupation forces have installed two iron gates aimed at restricting Palestinian movement at key locations in the region. One gate was placed at the main entrance to the village of Marka, south of Jenin, while the other was installed on the Jenin-Nablus road near Arraba Station.

According to Palestine news & Information Agency – WAFA – English, the installation of these gates has been accompanied by the closure of the Jenin-Nablus road near Arraba Station, significantly impeding Palestinian traffic. Additionally, another gate was installed at the main entrance to Marka, adding further restrictions to the movement of local residents.

Furthermore, the forces have established a military checkpoint on Haifa Street in Jenin city. At this checkpoint, Palestinians are being subjected to identity card checks, which is causing additional disruptions to traffic and general movement in the area.
