Qalqilya:Israeli colonists set fire to olive trees east of Qalqilya, while Israeli occupation forces expelled farmers and halted their olive harvest activities on Thursday.
According to Palestine news & Information Agency – WAFA – English, the incident took place on the outskirts of the village of Imatin, where colonists raided the area and ignited the olive trees.
In a related development, Israeli occupation forces intervened in the al-Jabal area, near the site of the arson, compelling farmers to vacate their lands. The forces also detained Palestinian farmer Yousef Juma along with several of his workers.
