Ramallah:Israeli occupation forces on Wednesday took control of a Palestinian house, transforming it into a military outpost in al-Mughayyir village, located northeast of the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah, as reported by local sources.
According to Palestine news & Information Agency – WAFA – English, local sources indicated that Israeli forces have been conducting raids in the village since the morning. During these operations, the home of Nidal Abu Alia was turned into a military outpost.
The frequent raids by occupation forces on Palestinian houses across the West Bank are ostensibly conducted to search for 'wanted' Palestinians. These actions often lead to confrontations with local residents. The raids are carried out without search warrants, as the military exercises broad arbitrary powers.
Under the existing Israeli military law, army commanders possess comprehensive executive, legislative, and judicial control over the approximately 3 million Palestinians residing in the West Bank. Palestinians have no authority or participation in the governance imposed upon them.
