Jericho:Israeli occupation authorities have demolished two homes and four date storage facilities in the village of Marj Ghazal, located north of Jericho. The demolitions were carried out with the assistance of two bulldozers escorted by Israeli forces.
According to Palestine news & Information Agency – WAFA – English, wholesaler Fahd Faisal Akhmeis reported that the demolished properties included his own home, a home belonging to his uncle, and four metal-sheet-roofed date storage facilities.
Akhmeis highlighted that the demolitions occurred in an area designated as Area B. This action was taken despite prior approval from the Israeli occupation authorities permitting construction at the site.
