Israeli Forces Maintain Siege on Nablus-Area Town for Tenth Day

Madama:Israeli occupation forces have maintained a siege on the town of Madama, located south of Nablus, for the tenth consecutive day, keeping all its entrances closed.

According to Palestine news and Information Agency, Rami Nassar, head of the Madama Village Council, reported that the forces have blocked the town's four main and secondary entrances with earthen mounds, severely restricting the movement of residents.

Nassar highlighted that the occupation forces pursue and harass residents attempting to enter or leave the town. On Tuesday, a resident suffered a heart attack, forcing others to carry him on foot across the mountains, as the siege prevented an ambulance from reaching the area.

He warned of a worsening humanitarian situation, citing shortages of medicine and essential supplies, affecting the town's population of over 2,500 people. Nassar also mentioned that when he tried to bring medicine into the town, the occupation forces opened fire. The forces are often stationed near the northern entrance, which remains completely sealed off.
