Colonists Raid Olive Groves in Atara

Atara:Colonists stole olives from Palestinian-owned land in the town of Atara, located northwest of Ramallah. The incident took place on Tuesday, marking the latest in a series of similar attacks.

According to Palestine news and Information Agency, local sources reported that a group of colonists raided the land and stole the olives. This incident is part of a broader pattern of violence coinciding with the olive harvest season. During this time, Palestinian farmers in several areas face threats from colonists, including olive theft, tree chopping and burning, and crop seizure, all aimed at preventing them from accessing their land and harvest.

Last month alone, colonists carried out 647 attacks, with the highest number occurring in the Ramallah and Al-Bireh governorate, where 506 attacks were recorded. Other affected areas include Nablus with 342 attacks, Hebron with 272, Jenin with 202, Bethlehem with 187, Tulkarm with 152, and Jerusalem with 149.
