Israeli Forces Conduct Raid in Ya’bad, Convert Home into Military Barracks

Ya'bad:Israeli occupation forces launched an operation in the town of Ya'bad, southwest of Jenin, early on Tuesday. The forces raided several homes, detained residents, and conducted on-site interrogations before eventually releasing them.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, the Israeli forces seized the home of Khaled Walid Abu Shamla at the town's entrance and transformed it into a military barracks. While initially informing the family that they would remain until the following day, the forces withdrew from the property later that morning.

The local sources reported that during the operation, the forces interrogated residents inside the converted barracks for hours before releasing them. Additionally, foot patrols from the occupation army entered the Khallet al-Soha and Jabal Abu Zahir areas, conducting patrols and obstructing the movement of local schoolchildren.
