Ramallah:Two Palestinians sustained injuries during an attack by Israeli colonists in Yabrud town, east of Ramallah, on Friday evening.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency, the colonists, under the protection of occupation forces, targeted the outskirts of the town. The local inhabitants attempted to confront the attackers.
The incident is part of a broader pattern of violence by colonists against Palestinians and their property in the West Bank. Such acts include arson of property and mosques, stone-throwing, uprooting of crops and olive trees, and attacks on vulnerable homes. These incidents are rarely prosecuted by Israeli authorities.
Currently, approximately 1 million Israeli colonists reside in colonies in the West Bank and East Jerusalem, which is considered a violation of international law.
