United nations: United Nations Secretary-General Ant³nio Guterres said that the Palestinians in the occupied West Bank are facing a process of 'pressure for annexation,' in light of the continuing illegal Israeli attacks and practices. This statement was made during a press conference held by Guterres following the start of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Guterres emphasized that the suffering of Palestinians in Gaza and the occupied West Bank "must never be forgotten." He pointed out that Israel has not agreed to implement the peace plan in Gaza, while the occupied West Bank faces a process of 'pressure for annexation' through the actions of colonialists who seize Palestinian lands.
Guterres further stated, "The annexation of the West Bank must be stopped step by step," highlighting the need for immediate action to address the issue.
