Colonists Erect Fences Around Al-Hadidiya, Restricting Palestinian Access

Al-hadidiya: Colonists began fencing off areas of land in the al-Hadidiya area of the northern Jordan Valley on Monday. This action marks a continuation of the tensions in the region, where land conflicts have been a persistent issue.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, local sources reported that the colonists erected a fence around the land, effectively preventing Palestinians from accessing and cultivating it. This development raises concerns about the potential loss of more grazing and agricultural land, which is vital for the local Palestinian communities.

The northern Jordan Valley has been subjected to repeated incidents, including land confiscation, bulldozing, and fencing off, all of which hinder Palestinians from accessing their land. Over the past years, colonists have successfully fenced off thousands of dunams of grazing and agricultural land in this region, exacerbating the challenges faced by Palestinian farmers and herders.
