Turmus ayya: Two Israeli colonists attacked on Saturday the town of Turmus Ayya, northeast of Ramallah. Awad Abu Samra, a member of the Turmus Ayya municipal council, reported that the colonists, riding an ATV, entered the eastern part of the town, approximately 100 meters from the location where U.S Ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee, was during his tour.
According to Palestine news and Information Agency, Ambassador Huckabee had visited Turmus Ayya to meet with municipal representatives and several residents who hold U.S. citizenship and had experienced attacks by Israeli colonists. In his remarks, Huckabee described the settler violence against U.S. citizens in Turmus'ayya as 'a form of terrorism.' He emphasized that the residents have 'legitimate grievances' and that he was there to listen to their concerns, underlining the necessity for Israel to ensure the security and safety of Palestinian citizens in the West Bank.
