Gaza city: Rescue teams in the Gaza Strip recovered the remains of 55 Palestinians from beneath the rubble of a home destroyed by Israeli forces in the Zeitoun neighborhood, south of Gaza City, on November 19, 2023, during the genocidal war.
According to Palestine news and Information Agency, the rescue teams stated that they retrieved the bodies and remains of 55 Palestinians from the Malka family home. The home was destroyed by Israeli forces while more than 60 people had sought shelter there after being displaced from their own homes due to intense Israeli bombardment nearly two years ago.
Medical sources in the Gaza Strip reported on Wednesday that the death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Strip has reached 73,470, with 174,540 others injured since October 7, 2023. They further noted that 1,334 Palestinians have been killed and 4,429 injured since the ceasefire that took effect on October 11. Additionally, the bodies of 815 Palestinians have been recovered.
