Gaza: Israeli colonists today began establishing infrastructure for a settlement outpost established some time ago in the village of al-Minya, southeast of Bethlehem. Head of the al-Minya Village Council Ahmad Kawazbeh expressed concerns over the rapid pace at which the land is being leveled in the al-Qarn area east of the village. This development is seen as part of a broader strategy to expand the outpost and eventually transform it into a settlement.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Kawazbeh highlighted ongoing issues faced by the residents of al-Minya due to the colonists' activities. The village has witnessed several attacks on residents' homes and vehicles, along with attempts to steal livestock. The disturbances have been especially persistent during nighttime, adding to the tension in the area. The situation reflects a challenging dynamic between the settlers and the local Palestinian population, raising concerns over future developments in the region.
