Gaza: Medical sources in the Gaza Strip reported on Sunday that the death toll from Israel's ongoing aggression in the region has escalated to 73,420 Palestinians killed and 174,369 injured since October 7, 2023. The conflict, which has continued despite several attempts at ceasefire, remains a dire humanitarian crisis.
According to Palestine news and Information Agency, Gaza hospitals received one fatality and five injured individuals over the past 48 hours. The situation has remained critical even after a ceasefire was declared on October 11, 2025. Since the ceasefire, the number of Palestinians killed has risen to 1,286, with 4,257 others injured. Additionally, recovery teams have managed to recover 813 bodies.
Health authorities have expressed concern about the number of victims still trapped under rubble and on roads. Ambulance and rescue teams are encountering significant challenges in reaching and recovering these individuals, further complicating the humanitarian response in the region.
