Pope Renews Call to End Violence Against Palestinians in West Bank, Urges Two-State Solution

Castel gandolfo: Pope Leo XIV today renewed his call for an end to repeated acts of violence against Palestinian civilians in the West Bank, urging the international community to act urgently to advance the two-state solution and achieve a just and lasting peace.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, following the recitation of the Angelus prayer in Castel Gandolfo, Pope Leo XIV emphasized his concern over the ongoing violence affecting Palestinian civilians.

He urged the international community to take swift action toward advancing the two-state solution. This, he indicated, is a crucial step in achieving a just and enduring peace in the region. The Pope's remarks reflect his consistent advocacy for dialogue and reconciliation in areas affected by conflict.
