Gaza: Israeli occupation forces detained seven Palestinian citizens, all family members of slain Palestinians, during a raid on their homes in the city of Qalqiliya early Thursday. The operation caused significant disruption in the area and sparked tensions among residents.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, local sources reported that Israeli forces detained Ibrahim Abu Haniyeh, the father of slain Palestinian Jamal Abu Haniyeh, along with his son Mohammed. Additionally, Ghassan Jibril, the father of slain Palestinian Jibril Jibril, and his son Ashraf were also taken into custody.

The sources further indicated that Ziad Daoud, the father of slain Palestinian Tareq Daoud, along with his son Maher, as well as Mahmoud Abu Khalil, the father of slain Palestinian Ali Abu Khalil, were detained. The raids lasted for approximately two hours before the forces withdrew from the city.
