Nablus: Israeli colonists set fire to a mosque under construction in the town of Qusra, south of Nablus, and torched parts of a Palestinian home in the town of Beit Furik, east of the city, in attacks early Sunday.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Qusra Mayor Abdul Azim Wadi stated that colonists attacked the southern area of the town and set fire to Al-Rahma Mosque, which is still under construction. This incident led to the burning of wooden materials and equipment at the site.
In Beit Furik, colonists targeted the Al-Dhubbat neighborhood and set fire to the home of Palestinian resident Ubada Mleitat. Parts of the house were burned before locals managed to extinguish the fire, as reported by Palestinian security sources.
The sources further revealed that the colonists spray-painted slogans calling for revenge and retaliation against Arabs. These acts are part of a pattern of continued escalation in violence by Israeli colonists across the occupied West Bank, which includes frequent attacks on homes, religious sites, and property.
