Nablus: Israeli forces detained 12 Palestinians, including 11 workers, on Sunday near the Mazmuria and Jaba' military checkpoints north and southeast of occupied Jerusalem.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, local sources reported that Israeli troops detained 11 workers near the Mazmuria checkpoint, southeast of occupied Jerusalem, as they attempted to enter the city. The workers were detained for lacking Israeli-issued entry permits and were taken to an undisclosed location.
In a related incident, occupation forces detained a young man at the Jaba' military checkpoint, north of occupied Jerusalem. The soldiers stopped the young man while he was passing through the checkpoint before detaining him and transferring him to an unknown location. His identity and the reasons for his detention remain unknown.
