Bethlehem: Israeli colonists grazed their sheep on agricultural land in the village of Al-Maniya, southeast of Bethlehem, causing damage to crops. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Ahmed Kawazba, head of the Al-Maniya village council, reported that a group of colonists herded their sheep onto olive groves in the Al-Qarn area, west of the village. This action resulted in damage to the trees and crops, and the colonists also raised the Israeli flag in the middle of the land.
Kawazba further explained that such attacks by colonists on the residents of Al-Maniya have become almost daily occurrences. These incidents include attacks on homes, gunfire, causing injuries to residents, the destruction of irrigation water networks, and the theft of private property. The village of Al-Maniya, situated in the Bethlehem wilderness, has been facing an escalation in colonist attacks against its residents and their property. This occurs amid ongoing attempts to seize control of large areas of grazing and agricultural land.
