Israeli Authorities Issue Demolition Orders for Nine Homes in Hebron

Hebron: Israeli occupation forces have issued demolition notices for nine inhabited homes in the town of Ash-Shuyukh, located northeast of Hebron. The affected homes are situated in the Qanan Nias area, which has been a subject of contention.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Hassan Halaika, the mayor of Ash-Shuyukh, reported that the demolition orders target homes belonging to Abdul-Razzaq Abu Eid, Muhammad Ayaydeh, Arwa Ayaydeh, Izz Al-Din Ayaydeh, Abdullah Abu Eid, Hassan Muhammad Abu Eid, Elias Jabarin, Ali Suleiman Ayaydeh, and Ayed Ayaydeh. These residents were previously notified by Israeli authorities to halt construction activities, citing a lack of necessary permits.

Despite the homeowners having submitted the required legal documents and paperwork to obtain the necessary permits, they were unexpectedly served with demolition notices. The recent development has left the residents and local authorities in a state of uncertainty as they navigate the legal complexities surrounding the situation.
