Colonists Carry Out Attacks in Salfit, as Israeli Forces Detain Youth in the Area

Salfit: Israeli occupation forces detained a Palestinian young man early Sunday from the town of Deir Ballut in the central West Bank province of Salfit, while Israeli colonists carried out a series of attacks in the nearby town of Kifl Haris and the Wadi al-Shaer area.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency, local sources reported that Israeli forces detained Amjad Majed Abdullah after raiding and searching his family home in Deir Ballut. This incident adds to the growing tension in the region as the local population faces continuous security operations.

Meanwhile, groups of Israeli colonists stormed the town of Kifl Haris, where they attacked Palestinian property and attempted to set fire to a mosque in the center of the town. This aggressive act has heightened fears among the residents, who have expressed concerns about the safety of their homes and places of worship.

At the same time, colonists from a pastoral outpost established in the Wadi al-Shaer area near the city of Salfit cut down and uprooted several olive trees during the early morning hours, in another attack targeting Palestinian land and property. These actions have been viewed as part of a broader pattern of intimidation and destruction aimed at Palestinian agriculture and livelihoods in the area.
