Elderly Man and Four Children Detained by Israeli Forces in Raid on Beit Ummar Near Hebron

Hebron: Israeli occupation forces detained an elderly man and four children on Sunday during a raid on the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron. Local activist Mohammed Awad reported the incident, stating that Israeli forces stormed the town, raided and searched several homes, and detained 72-year-old Yusuf Hassan Ikhlil, along with four children.

According to Palestine news and Information Agency, the detained children were identified as Rebhi Muhammad Rabhi Awad, 15, Musab Safi Muhammad Al-Salibi, 16, Ayham Mufeed Muhammad Ikhlil, 16, and Saleh Saeed Saleh Za'qiq, 16. The raid follows an earlier Israeli military incursion into Beit Ummar on Saturday evening, during which a young man was injured by live fire, with his condition described as moderate.
