Israeli Forces Set Fire to Homes in Jenin Refugee Camp

Jenin: Israeli occupation forces set fire on Tuesday night to several Palestinian residents' homes in the Jenin refugee camp, according to local sources.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency, Israeli occupation forces set fire to two houses in the camp that had been converted into military barracks more than a year and a half ago. The forces also set fire to another house in the camp earlier in the evening.

The Israeli occupation army launched a wide-scale aggression on the city of Jenin and its refugee camp on January 21, 2025, which resulted in the forced displacement of the camp's entire population and residents of the surrounding areas, estimated at 22,000 people. Since then, dozens of homes have been demolished and burned, hundreds of meters of roads have been bulldozed, and the camp's infrastructure has been extensively destroyed.
