Beit awwa: Israeli colonists on Sunday began paving a colonial road in the town of Beit Awwa, west of Hebron, according to local sources. The sources noted that the colonists employed heavy machinery to carve out a road on land owned by the al-Awawda and al-Suwaiti families. This activity took place near an Israeli military tower located at the entrance of the town.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the colonists have recently seized hundreds of dunums of land west of the nearby town of Dura. This land acquisition aims to facilitate road construction that serves the settlements established in the surrounding area. The ongoing developments have raised concerns among local residents about further encroachments and their impact on the community.
