Cairo: Minister Ahmed Assaf, the General Supervisor of Official Palestinian Media, on Wednesday called on Arab media outlets to maintain their focus on reporting news and ongoing events in Palestine, which has been facing comprehensive aggression by Israeli occupation forces for more than two years.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Minister Assaf's remarks were made during Palestine's speech at the 55th session of the Council of Arab Ministers. The session was held at the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States headquarters in Cairo, Egypt, under the chairmanship of Syria.
In his address, Minister Assaf emphasized the importance of Arab media in shedding light on the challenges faced by Palestinians. He urged media organizations to continue reporting with dedication to ensure that the international community remains aware of the ongoing situation in Palestine. The minister's appeal comes at a time when the region is experiencing heightened tensions and violence, necessitating informed reporting and global awareness.
