Israeli Forces Escalate Siege on Nur Shams Refugee Camp with Heavy Machinery

Tulkarm: Israeli forces deployed bulldozers and heavy construction equipment toward the Nur Shams refugee camp east of Tulkarm as the siege on the area continues. The new reinforcements arrived amid a tight siege that has been in place for the past 291 days, preventing most residents from returning to their homes.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the camp has suffered widespread destruction, with occupation forces demolishing hundreds of homes and properties, either completely or partially. The camp's infrastructure has been entirely destroyed, and iron gates have been erected at several entrances, intensifying the camp's isolation and the suffering of its displaced residents.

Intermittent heavy gunfire can be heard within the camp as the Israeli aggression against Tulkarm and its refugee camp persists for the 304th consecutive day. The offensive includes strict blockades, military measures, the demolition and destruction of homes, shops, and infrastructure, and the prevention of residents from accessing the camp.
