Two Wounded by Live Fire, Dozens Suffocate During Israeli Raid in Dura

Dura: Two young men were shot and dozens of residents suffered suffocation on Saturday during an Israeli military raid on the town of Dura, south of Hebron in the southern West Bank. One young man was also detained.

According to Palestine news and Information Agency - WAFA, Israeli forces raided the town for several hours, accompanied by police dogs, and opened live fire and fired tear gas canisters at residents. Two young men were wounded by live bullets in the foot and were transferred to Dura Governmental Hospital.

Dozens of citizens also suffered suffocation from inhaling tear gas and were treated at the scene. Israeli forces also detained a young man whose identity has not yet been confirmed.
