Jerusalem: Israeli authorities have imposed a six-month ban on a Palestinian university student, preventing her from entering the West Bank.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, local sources revealed that 22-year-old Bana al-Ghoul was summoned to interrogation room number 4 at the al-Maskobiyya detention center, located west of occupied Jerusalem. During this interrogation, she was handed a decision that prohibits her entry to the West Bank until April 12, 2026.
The decision effectively bars al-Ghoul from completing her university studies at Birzeit University, where she was scheduled to graduate from the Faculty of Media by the end of the current academic year. The occupation intelligence justified the ban by claiming that al-Ghoul posed a "danger" due to her involvement in student activities at the university.
