Bodies of 152 Slain Palestinians Admitted to Gaza Hospital

Gaza city: The bodies of 152 Palestinians were admitted to hospitals in Gaza following the Israeli military's withdrawal from most urban areas, according to medical sources. The casualties were reported after an escalation of conflict, with many of the deceased recovered from under rubble in various areas of the city.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, medical sources confirmed that the bodies of 152 Palestinians, killed by Israeli occupation forces, were brought to hospitals across Gaza. Among these, 132 were recovered from beneath destroyed structures. In addition, 19 Palestinians were killed in Israeli strikes on Friday, violating a recently established ceasefire agreement. Another individual succumbed to injuries sustained in previous attacks.

The report highlighted a specific Israeli strike on the Ghabbun family's home, located south of Gaza City, which resulted in 16 fatalities. Additional strikes targeted the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, north of Gaza City, and an area south of Khan Younes, resulting in three more deaths.

The distribution of the bodies across hospitals was detailed, with 32 taken to Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City, 60 to the Arab Ahli Hospital, 4 to al-Awda Hospital in Nuseirat, 13 to Shuhada Al-Aqsa Hospital in Deir al-Balah, and 32 to Nasser Hospital in Khan Younes.

The ongoing conflict in the region has resulted in significant casualties, with Israel's military actions since October 2023 leading to the deaths of 67,211 Palestinians, predominantly women and children, and injuring 169,961 others.
