Gaza: UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator Tom Fletcher announced that UN teams are prepared to mobilize aid trucks on a large scale to save Palestinian lives in the Gaza Strip. This statement comes in the wake of a recently agreed ceasefire aimed at halting hostilities in the region.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Fletcher expressed his support for the ceasefire and emphasized the urgency of delivering humanitarian aid to Gaza. In a post on X, he highlighted the readiness of the United Nations to provide essential support to the affected population without delay.
