Jenin: A Palestinian man and a child were injured on Thursday evening after Israeli occupation forces opened fire during a military raid on the town of Ya'bad, south of Jenin in the northern West Bank.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that its crews transported a young man who was shot in the leg by Israeli forces. Additionally, a child sustained injuries from shrapnel as a result of live ammunition during the incursion.
Local sources indicated that Israeli forces stormed Ya'bad with several military vehicles, spreading across streets and residential neighborhoods. During this operation, soldiers fired live rounds and smoke bombs and took control of a residential home.
The town of Ya'bad and the wider Jenin governorate have been frequent targets of Israeli military raids in recent months. These incursions often lead to injuries, fatalities, and damage to property.
