Ramallah: Vice President of the State of Palestine Hussein al-Sheikh on Saturday welcomed a delegation from the Palestinian Journalists' Syndicate (PJS), accompanied by a group of journalists, media professionals, and influencers, including PJS President Nasser Abu Baker. The discussions revolved around key issues such as upcoming general elections and press freedom.
According to Palestine news and Information Agency, the meeting highlighted the latest political, economic, and security developments pertinent to the Palestinian cause. Al-Sheikh underscored the significance of preparing for the upcoming elections, which are crucial for enhancing national democratic participation and protecting Palestinian interests.
Al-Sheikh addressed the ongoing conflict in the Gaza Strip, emphasizing the humanitarian crisis it has engendered.
