Gaza: Israeli forces stormed on Monday the village of Al-Funduq, east of Qalqilya Israeli troops, accompanied by a military bulldozer, were stationed in the southwestern part of the village, in an area known as Al-Qata’a. They proceeded to demolish a two-story stone house, measuring approximately 200 square meters, belonging to Bashar Taym, under the pretext that it was built without a permit.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, the demolition operation took place amid heightened tensions in the region. The house belonged to a local resident, Bashar Taym, whose property was targeted due to alleged permit violations. The incident has further escalated the ongoing disputes over construction regulations and property rights in the area.
Local witnesses reported that the presence of the Israeli military and the subsequent demolition created significant distress among the villagers. The operation has drawn criticism from various community leaders and human rights organizations, who argue that such actions exacerbate the humanitarian situation in the village and surrounding areas. The demolition adds to a series of similar incidents in recent times, highlighting ongoing challenges faced by residents regarding construction and property ownership in the region.
