Gaza: The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) strongly condemned recent Israeli measures targeting its Qalandia Training Center in occupied East Jerusalem, describing the raid and unauthorized activities at the facility as violations of international law. According to Palestine news and Information Agency, UNRWA affirmed that the center is a UN facility and must be respected and protected under international law. The agency reported that the center sustained damage during the occupation authorities' presence and received reports of individuals entering the premises, attempting to steal some of its contents. UNRWA added it consistently emphasizes the need to protect the center and its assets, given its vital role in providing educational services and vocational training to Palestine refugees. The agency stressed that the occupying power is legally obligated to ensure the immediate reversal of such actions and prevent their recurrence. UNRWA also reiterated its commitment to fully resuming its educational activities at the Qalandia Training Center.
