According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, the situation in the northern Gaza Strip is facing severe challenges, with conditions deteriorating rapidly. Abu Khalaf emphasized the gravity of the situation, noting that 30% of children in the Gaza Strip are experiencing severe malnutrition, a statistic that underscores the urgent need for international intervention and support.
Furthermore, Abu Khalaf disclosed that 95% of schools that serve as shelters for displaced individuals in the Gaza Strip have been completely destroyed.
