UN Conference on Two-State Solution Rescheduled to July in New York

New York: The high-level United Nations conference on the two-state solution is slated to take place from July 28 to 30 in New York. This significant event will address the ongoing issues related to the two-state solution in the Middle East.

According to Union of OIC News Agencies, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Omar Awadallah, confirmed the rescheduling of the conference, which is co-chaired by Saudi Arabia and France. Initially planned for June 17 to 20, the conference was postponed due to the complex situation in the Middle East, necessitating further discussions and preparations.

Awadallah noted that both Saudi Arabia and France have commenced the process of distributing invitations for the conference. This international gathering will be hosted by the United Nations General Assembly in New York, bringing together global leaders and stakeholders to deliberate on the pursuit of a two-state solution.
