UK Foreign Secretary Affirms Commitment to Due Process for Netanyahu Visit.

Gaza: UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy has stated that Britain would adhere to due process in the event of a visit from Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu. This statement follows the issuance of an arrest warrant against Netanyahu by the International Criminal Court. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Lammy addressed the media at the G7 meeting in Italy, emphasizing the UK's commitment to its international obligations. "We are signatories to the Rome Statute, we have always been committed to our obligations under international law and international humanitarian law," Lammy remarked. He further clarified that if Netanyahu were to visit the UK, the country would ensure that a court process is initiated, and due process is maintained concerning the legal issues at hand.
