Two Palestinians Sustain Injuries from Israeli Army Fire Near Jerusalem

Jerusalem: Two Palestinians on Friday sustained injuries from Israeli army fire in the Shu'fat refugee camp, northeast of the occupied West Bank city of Jerusalem, according to local sources.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the incident occurred when occupation forces opened fire on a young man in the camp, seriously injuring him in the neck. Another young man was also targeted by the forces, and medical crews were reportedly prevented from approaching him, with no immediate information available about his condition.

The incident unfolded as the occupying forces stormed the family house of Mohammad Mahmoud Shawamra in the camp. This action was purportedly in response to a stabbing attack that Shawamra allegedly carried out in a West Jerusalem hotel. During the operation, heavily armed soldiers surrounded the house and opened fire on the surrounding Palestinian civilians.
