Two Palestinians Killed in Israeli Drone Strike in Northern Gaza

GAZA CITY: Two Palestinian citizens were killed and several others injured in an Israeli drone strike in the northern Gaza Strip this evening, marking the latest episode in a series of violent exchanges in the region.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, the Israeli drone targeted a group of civilians near Halabi Square in Jabalia. The ongoing Israeli military operations in Gaza, which began in October 2023, have resulted in at least 45,553 documented Palestinian fatalities and over 108,379 injuries.

The humanitarian crisis in Gaza has been exacerbated by thousands of victims feared trapped under rubble, with emergency and civil defense teams struggling to reach them due to continued Israeli attacks. The United Nations Security Council has called for an immediate ceasefire, and the International Court of Justice has issued directives urging measures to prevent further genocide and alleviate the dire situation.

Despite these international appeals, Israel’s military actions in Gaza continue without abatement, prompting widespread concern and condemnation from the global community.
