Two Palestinians Killed in Israeli Attack in Southern Gaza

Gaza: Two Palestinian citizens were killed today following an Israeli military strike targeting them in the southern Gaza Strip.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, the incident occurred in the Tel Al-Sultan neighborhood west of Rafah. The Israeli occupation army targeted the two individuals, leading to their killing.

In a related development, civil defense teams successfully recovered the remains of four individuals from the rubble of a house belonging to the Shurrab family near Palestine Stadium in western Gaza City.

The recent escalation comes despite a fragile ceasefire agreement brokered in late 2024 between the Israeli occupation and Palestinian factions, following 15 months of brutal Israeli aggression. The ceasefire, facilitated by Egypt, Qatar, and the United Nations, aimed to restore calm and address humanitarian needs in the besieged enclave.
