Gaza city: Two Palestinians were killed by Israeli army fire on Monday evening in the Gaza Strip, as reported by medical sources in Al-Shifa Hospital. The incidents occurred in different locations, with one Palestinian being killed in the Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City, and another near the Bani Suheila roundabout, east of Khan Yunes in the southern Strip.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the ongoing conflict has resulted in a significant number of casualties. Since October 7, 2023, when Israel launched its aggression on the Strip, the death toll has reached 72,740, with the majority being women and children, and 172,192 individuals have been injured. Despite a ceasefire agreement that took effect on October 11, 2025, Israeli forces have continued operations, resulting in the deaths of 854 Palestinians and injuries to 2,453 others. Additionally, 770 bodies have been retrieved during this period.
