Two Palestinians Injured in Colonist Attack Near Nablus

Nablus: Two Palestinians on Friday evening sustained injuries in an attack by Israeli colonists in Beit Furik, east of Nablus, according to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS).

According to Palestine news and Information Agency, Israeli colonists physically attacked Palestinian farmers while they were tending to their farmland, east of the town, resulting in two casualties. The PRCS confirmed that two men, aged 48 and 28, sustained injuries due to the attack.

Colonists' violence against Palestinians and their property is routine in the West Bank and is rarely prosecuted by Israeli authorities. Such violence includes property and mosque arsons, stone-throwing, uprooting of crops and olive trees, and attacks on vulnerable homes, among others.

Approximately 1 million Israeli colonists are living in colonies in the West Bank and East Jerusalem in violation of international law.
