Two Palestinian Women Injured, Two Brothers Detained in Israeli Military Incursion in Qalqilya

Qalqilya: Two Palestinian women were injured and two brothers were detained on Monday during an Israeli military incursion into the village of Kafr Qaddum, located east of Qalqilya.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Israeli forces stormed the Juma'a family home in the northern part of the village, where they assaulted Fadwa Juma'a and her daughter-in-law, Sireen Juma'a. Following the assault, the two brothers, Qusay Juma'a and Rif'at Juma'a, were detained.

The assault left the women with bruises and injuries of varying severity. They were subsequently taken to the hospital for treatment, with their condition being described as moderate.

The raid on the Juma'a family home coincided with an incursion by groups of colonists into the northern part of the village, who were under the protection of Israeli soldiers. Local sources noted that dozens of colonists were near Palestinian agricultural lands, and Israeli military vehicles and jeeps were deployed in the surrounding area. This raised concerns among the residents about potential attacks or restrictions on accessing their land.

During the military operation, several surrounding houses, including the Juma'a family home, were raided before the occupation forces withdrew from the area.
